Introduction
A mandala, meaning “circle” in Sanskrit, symbolizes the laws of the universe. These mandala games are my tribute to my cousin Ofira, who introduced me to mandalas, and to the Tibetan monks who brought this practice to the West. The Hamsa hand, a symbol of protection in Middle Eastern traditions, represents good luck, health, and fortune across various faiths.
Each mandala and Hamsa on these cards was drawn freehand over months—created spontaneously, without judgment. Through this process, I experienced firsthand how mandalas aid in calming the body, regulating emotions, and cultivating mindfulness. These cards offer endless possibilities. While the instruction card provides ideas, let your creativity guide you. Use them solo, in pairs, or groups—explore what feels most meaningful to you.

This game was inspired by my brother-in-law, Dani Blorian, who documented his hospice volunteer work in his book Hospisophy—collecting stories from those at life’s end to uncover their values and regrets. When the pandemic disrupted our lives, forcing isolation and reflection, many reassessed their priorities. Drawing from the five most common end-of-life regrets and insights from countless conversations during the pandemic, this game is designed to spark meaningful conversations about what truly matters. The values, habits, and wishes on these cards encourage reflection and dialogue, helping players explore life’s challenges with greater clarity and purpose.
